Wicked Sister Dance Theatre returns to Pioneer Place on Fifth with a collection of original danceworks on the floor and in the air, featuring guest artist Caroline Sutton Clark from Austin, TX. CMAB 2007 Individual Artist award recipient David DeBlieck leads an ensemble of local dancers through acrobatic and kinetic encounters with an antique door, slabs of granite, aerial hoops, stools and a blowup swimming pool with performances by…

Jerome Bowden, Amanda Chouinard, David DeBlieck, David Harris, Angela Hasnedl, Alex Loch, Kayla Locnikar, Arielah Moskow, Stephanie Molstad, Ashley Pistohl and Caroline Sutton Clark.

As a special treat, Sutton Clark revisits her WSDT signature role as lip-syncing goddess in “Visitation”. A favorite with our audiences, this joyous dance celebrates the divinity within each of us while fusing images of the Virgin Mary, Venus and Esther Williams. David & Caroline will also remount “2 Sly Suzy Q’s” which they have performed in Texas and at Red Eye in Minneapolis.

Watch a delectable taste of Caroline’s amazing lip-syncing skills…

David DeBlieck with Door

“Door Suite” is a series of four of dances featuring an antique oak door. With the door as partner, dancers climb, balance, lift and spin, creating an ever-shifting landscape of architectural wonder and kinetic delight.

The show also features the premiere of “Eternal”, a new work inspired by the Stearns County Quarry Park & Nature Preserve. David DeBlieck and guest artist Caroline Sutton Clark recently led an ensemble of movement artists through a creative exploration of this amazing natural landscape infused with rich history from the granite industry. St Cloud-based dancers interact with actual rocks on stage, accompanied by original music created by Dan Nass from sounds harvested and recorded at the Quarry.

David Harris

As a special bonus, WSDT presents What I Want to be When I Grow Up!, a family-friendly matinee at 2pm on Saturday Oct 11 by acrobatic theatre artist, David Harris. Follow the incredible adventures of a would be super-hero, professional bowler, adventure tourist and lasso slinging cowboy as David dreams the dream of becoming anything imaginable. WSDT aerialists warm up the stage for David’s show with selected favorites on trapeze and hoop.

The Saturday matinee is only $5 for children and $10 for adults! Tickets available online at or by calling 320-203-123
